Didier is also Chairman of STMicroelectronics, and he is on the board of directors of Technicolor (ex Thomson) and of Thales, and on the supervisory board of Radiall.

 

Didier was Chairman and CEO of France Telecom from 2005 to 2010, and Chairman from March 2010 to June 2011, after having served as Senior Executive VP, in charge of technologies, strategic partnerships and new usages.

 

Previously, Didier had been Scientific and Technical Director at the Ministry of Research; GM of Industrial Strategy at the Ministry of Economy; Deputy Ambassador for International Investments and Chairman of the French Agency for International Investments.

 

He authored Le Village numérique Global (2008) and L’irrésistible ascension du numérique (2011).
